"All the front desk staff were very friendly and followed up on my requests, like getting new towels, right away. The interior of the hotel and guest rooms were clean and updated. I didn't see any mold or mildew in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast room was clean and had at least 10 tables as well as 5 or so lounge chairs without a dining height table. While big, it was not big enough. I often had to eat at the lounge chairs or wait to eat because there was no seating. The food was good quality for a high end free breakfast but it ran out of several items, including coffee, on the mornings that I didn't get there before 8 am. That is something this hotel really needs to work on. Another problem is the location. I chose to take the train to visit a friend in the hospital and the walk to catch it is sketchy. I walked past a few parked cars that had electrical cords running to them from the nearby building 5 days in a row. The smell of marijuana on this sidewalk, very small local grocers and pharmacies, gave the impression that I would not be safe walking here any time except daylight. Walking the other direction, towards Vernon Blvd., did not have the same run-down and crowded feel but there were no restaurants or recognizable grocery stores in that direction. Ultimately, we chose to leave this hotel early and check into another one so that walking out of the hotel was less questionable. The next hotel did not have as nice of amenities but better location."

"The heat worked just fine, the room was clean as well as the bathtub. The staff were friendly and when knocking on the door they were polite and accommodating. The t.v placement over the bed in the city view room (11th Fl) however is a hazard. As often you can hit your head if you forget to duck down. Also the outlets are covered by furniture. Harder to maneuver and get to. "

The staff stood out for their responsiveness and attentiveness throughout the stay, handling every request promptly and professionally. The room itself was excellent. Looking forward to my next stay. "La ubicación se me hizo adecuada ya que es céntrica, está cerca el times square, y a dos cuadras el metro. Hay tiendas de 24 horas muy cerca. La habitación la entregaron limpia y también hacían el aseo cuando lo solicitábamos, agua caliente, el staff muy amables y atentos. Solo el wifi a veces era lento más en la noches supongo porque ya todos llegábamos a esa hora :) "
