"All the major characteristics were excellent or very good. Restaurant was especially convenient and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and welcoming, especially my maid who made a point of cleaning my room during the hour I spent at breakfast. And, you can’t beat the midtown Manhattan location, particularly if you’re traveling by train."

"I loved this hotel. For being this close to everything exciting, it was spacious, clean, comfortable and I loved having the kitchenette! I can’t wait to come back!"

"When we checked in, we were informed that we had extra rooms due to staff incorrectly extending our stay by adding new reservations verses just changing it. Never received emails for extra rooms. That meant we had extra charges on our CC. Took a bit to get it corrected but finally was. The biggest problem was that we got stuck in an elevator on the 15 floor on the way to the roof top bar. The alarm and call button did not work. Banged on the elevator door and no one heard us. Finally called 911. The door to the service side finally opened. The manager of the bar stated she was afraid someone was stuck since it hasn’t moved in awhile but hadn’t done anything about it. She also mentioned that the elevator gets overloaded when to many people on different floors push buttons at the same time. We went to sit to calm down and the waitress at the bar and our waitress told us it happens all the time. By the time we walked down the stairs to the lobby, there was a technician looking at another elevator that was also stuck on the 15th floor. The next morning we switched to a different hotel. We would have stayed since we were just on the 4th floor, but when you come down the stairs you exit to straight out side not the lobby. You also couldn’t enter the stairs from the lobby. You only could from outside which was locked. They refunded several fees and charges and did not charges us to check out early. "

"Great location. Rooms are a bit dark and small but the vibes are big and cool. If vibes aren't for view there's always an outdated holiday inn out there."

"Hotel was in a great location. We got there early and they were accommodating and provided us with the room. Nice stay overall. "

"Hotel is nice, clean. Rooms were cleaned everyday, yummy breakfast with lots of choices of breads, bagels, eggs scrambled and sausage, potatoes, pancakes, yogurt. Or you can order an Omelet. We had a group of 5 couples traveling and we got the ugliest view room of them all. Even though I bought a room with sofa and they didn’t. The view out out the window was just 3 brick walls very close to us, felt like we’re in some closet. But everything else is great, recommend the place but would ask for better view room."

"Our room was great! However the door to our room would not lock. We asked several times to get it fixed. For our 24 hour stay…the door never locked. "
