"Getting to the apartment initally was a bit of a trek. It's a 15 minute walk to the nearest subway station but only 6 minutes to the bus. It was a great place away from the main city to explore and enjoy fukuoka. Walking distance to Ohori park, paypay stadium, and teamlab forest with more than a few covenience stores and small grocery stores nearby. The apartment was on the 3rd floor in a quiet neighborhood. It was adjacent to a school and that could create some noise but it was infrequent and...

"Having visited in the 4th week of April 2025, it was a vibrant spring floral experience at the Island Park Garden. The villa is on a hill and from the balcony it is over-looking the pine trees and the bay. We loved the peaceful and idyllic atmosphere. The Japanese dinner and breakfast was delicious and the friendly and courteous staff-they were able to converse in simple English made our stay memorable. "
