"I stayed at Ta Nikola Farmhouse for a week in April, the house was extremely well presented and clean on arrival and a nice welcome basket.
The house is very spacious and bedrooms are ample, the pool was slightly cold due to the time of year, but still able to swim daily, pool was cleaned via filtration system multiple times per day.
Overall my stay here was very relaxing, in a quiet location, but only less than 20 minutes from everywhere
The house itself was beautiful and the pictures do not do...

"This location is well placed to local amenities and public transport links.
Close to the town centre.
The property was of a high standard and well presented. The host was contactable throughout the stay and nothing was too much trouble.
I would definitely book this accommodation again."

"Had an enjoyable stay. AC stopped working 4 days before departure and host claimed she was unable to get it fixed, so that was incredibly uncomfortable in temperatures of about 35°, but other than that was ok. Pool could have been cleaner as it was turning greem towards the end of the stay. "

"Villa was lovely. Fairly basic but had everything we needed for a family of 5 for a week stay. Views were spectacular. Pool was lovely and big enough for us to all splash around. Lots to do on Gozo. We managed to walk to Marsalforn, Ramla and Xaghra from the villa which was a bonus for us.

"Such a quaint little farmhouse, it needs some TLC and a thorough clean. Lacking in basic amenities like a decent washing line or maiden. We had to bleach the drains and wash crockery and cutlery before we used it. Its such a shame as this place could be fantastic. The tv wouldnt work as a fuse had gone in the adapter, we resolved all the issues ourselves as we received no responses from the management team. The cleaning lady was lovely though we only met her when she was at another property "

"Great location and comfortable stay
The location of 115 The Strand Hotel is fantastic, and the beds were really comfortable. The rooms were kept clean, which was a positive. However, we did have some issues with the air conditioning, including a leak, and there were signs of damp and mould, which was disappointing.
If natural daylight is important to you, I’d recommend booking a balcony room which is lovely but we also had one of the standard rooms it had no natural light at all, just a concrete wall outside the window.
Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of options. The front-of-house team were lovely and welcoming, although the restaurant staff weren’t particularly pleasant overall. Only two members of the restaurant team were genuinely engaging and friendly.
Overall, the hotel has a fantastic location, comfortable beds and clean rooms, but the air-conditioning, damp/mould issues and lack of natural light in some standard rooms are worth considering when booking."
"Really lovely hotel and one of the best i have stayed in.
It was clean and very well maintained.
We booked a deluxe double room with balcony and it was a decent size with lots of cupboard space.
We went for my husbands 60th Birthday and the room had been decorated with balloons and red petals. They also left a delicious slice of chocolate cake with happy birthday on it which was a lovely touch and a nice surprise for my husband.
Bed linen & towels looked new. They were nice and fluffy and changed daily.
We loved the roof top pool which had spectacular views over Mellieha bay. It was adult only too which was a bonus.
The staff were very friendly and helpful which is always nice.
My husband and I really enjoyed our time at the hotel and hope to go back again next year."
"Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very disappointed in the one bottle of water a day only, so sad when other hotels give unlimited water."
"Great hotel ideally located a few minutes walk from the main area of St Julian’s and Paceville
Gets very busy at night with loads of bars, Disco and nightlife
Good food choices with Henry Beam and Hard Rock Cafe
Excellent clean room with excellent staff and service and nice pools as well as the facility to swim in the sea
Rush hour in the evening can be expensive with bolt taxi
Blue lagoon is a must"
"It is a solid 4* hotel.
The only issue is with the room.
The curtains make it impossible to sleep in. Too much light coming in.
In the peak summer months this is a problem as the sun is up at 6am.
Also the air conditioning shuts down when you leave the room so the room gets warm during the day if you leave to wander around town.
The hallways on the 11th are also not air conditioned (our room was on the 11th floor).
Their sister property (Le Bains) is where the hotel pool is at. Great little poo.
The property is a true one stop shop. Great concept. They have their own beach club (La Plage), beach restaurant (La Vie), hotel restaurant le GV (Michelin guide 2026).
I highly recommend booking le GV for brunch. The food was a real treat. The service impeccable.
Overall a definite great choice. Location was amazing."
"One of the best resorts I’ve stayed in.
It’s big and even though it’s busy it doesn’t feel crowded. The little beach is a massive plus as the island doesn’t have many. Food is excellent! Every day different dishes. Two restaurants to go to. 3 swimming pools and an inside one with cold unsalted water.
Bus stop 5 min from hotel. Water activities jetty even less. Every room has a balcony. It’s worth paying extra for the sea view one as it’s beautiful overlooking the pools and the sea. We were given a half sea view initially but after talking to the staff they’ve kindly changed our room to the full sea view.
My only gripe is no free water given with dinner. Water is a basic human necessity and should be provided for free at meal times.
Loved the place and would happily come back."
"We’ve just returned from a six-night stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Sliema and had an excellent experience.
The staff were fantastic — friendly, pleasant and extremely helpful. They were always happy to recommend places to visit and restaurants to try, which really helped us make the most of Malta.
The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout and all the amenities were excellent. Our room was cleaned every day and, although we booked a basic room, it still felt luxurious. The bed was extremely comfortable, the blackout curtains were excellent and the room was surprisingly quiet despite the traffic outside. We also had a balcony. A sea view would have been lovely, but we were very happy with the room we booked.
The bathroom was impressive, particularly the shower with its two different modes. The room also had an iron and hairdryer.
Breakfast was brilliant, with a fantastic choice of sweet and savoury options — basically everything you could want. What really impressed us was how quickly items were replenished when they started to run low, so there was always plenty available.
The spa and relaxation areas had a lovely, chilled atmosphere. The only slight negative was that a few other guests didn't always respect the quiet environment, but that's certainly not the hotel's fault.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Excellent staff, cleanliness, facilities, breakfast and comfort. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Sliema."
"A lovely stay - ataff we’re all so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Particular mention to Angela and Ev…. in restaurant who almost had our preferred coffees waiting for us on arrival. Food all a very good standard too. Pool area lovely and plenty of poolside service too. A very quiet area and a bit of a way to Valetta but around €15-18 in a Bolt."
