"Overall average stay. Problems included: no microwave, really warm room at some points with no solution as AC system couldn't be controlled by the staff (?), hot water got cut off multiple times in the room so couldn't shower, no locks on bathroom door, lack of hangers and hooks, and a bad toilet flush. Breakfast was decent, not too much variety and quite repetitive, but catering staff were very nice - they cooked vegetarian options if you asked. Room cleaning staff were also nice. Hotel staff in the reception weren't though."

"Excellent location, Warm & friendly welcome a very quick check in even had an early check in, room very clean and even a turn down service! Staff lovely and very helpful, breakfast an amazing array of fresh food and selections! The pool was chilly but clean and great views, the little beach was off limits as being fixed up! My only negative was the outside looked tired so a little freshen up needed! "

"This is a top notch place located on the best spot in Malta, with wonderful staff and lovely views all over. The pools, sauna, locker room, etc. etc. are all 5-star. Thank you"

"I won't recommend this aparthotel. I have chosen this place for the view from the penthouse towards the sea but I didn't get that room. So in case you are planning to book this apartment for the view get ready to more likely get the city view not the sea. Secondly, this is too far from Valetta, so you will either need to take taxi, or ferry to get quicker to Valetta or walk for 50 minutes every time. We have been told that the room gets cleaned every 3 days, on the 3rd day nobody came to take the dirty towels and give us new ones. Their attention to details is minimal. Plus one of the staff members, an old blonde woman got too friendly with us, trying to make a sarcastic joke when we asked for towels, emphasising the fact that they are more an apartment not a hotel therefore they have different rules. So professionalism is minimal again. Another thing, if you are planning to have the penthouse which is the most expensive one, get ready to be woke up at 7:00am on your holiday because they are moving the sun beds around. Again, attention to detail is ZERO, they are not careful with these things as you go there for a few days and in case you don’t come back it won't make any difference in their pocket. Do not book this place, trust me, choose a place inside of Valletta or a proper hotel not something hybrid."

"Stayed five nights with family whilst attending a wedding. Ronaldo was great at check-in and most helpful. Rooms are spacious and well equipped with iron, hair dryer, slippers and robes. Restaurant offers great choice of food and drink with plenty of staff available to serve and clear up. Had a sea view room with view of pools and then bay. Overall can fault the hotel. Just a shame about all the building works in the vicinity but otherwise an enjoyable stay. May have had a slightly conscientious room maid for our son's room who seemed to have thrown away a bottle cap for one of his creams and plastic sleeves for a couple of his clothing items, but otherwise rooms were cleaned well."

"Wow wow wow, this is an incredible hoyel, immaculately clean and new, staff are so attentive! So polite and so welcoming. Nothing was trouble for them. Breakfast was always fresh and great variety. Housekeeping was superb and spotlessly clean. "

"We had a fantastic stay at The Westin Dragonara Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself is excellent, with beautiful surroundings and well-maintained facilities. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and of a very high standard, making it easy to relax as a family. The breakfast was lovely, with a great selection that everyone enjoyed each morning. The heated indoor and outdoor pools were a real highlight for us - perfect for both relaxing and keeping the children entertained. Overall, a great experience - friendly staff, a great hotel, and a really enjoyable stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it to others visiting Malta."

"Staff are really helpful and v kind. Spa is relaxing and massages plentiful. V relaxing place and v well located. Away from clubs etc but easily walkable. I gave 4 due to one issue at the restaurant: Atrio - food was bland and badly made. Meal cost 160 Euros... For that would've expected a modicum of a decent meal. I did complain and even met the chef, they were apologetic as risotto lacked consistency, and wasn't tasty at all. Chicken also wasn't seasoned properly. They offered to swap the dish which was kind of the staff and they listened to my advice, which again endearing and kind. Would've given 3 stars but learning from a mistake is a positive hence 4 stars. I will be back and hopefully this minor incident won't be repeated. Thx"
