"The staff were very friendly, location was great, room was clean, comfortable and very close to the beach.
It wasn’t as family friendly as I would expect, it was extremely loud until gone 2am each night, with the hotel seemingly doing nothing to prevent it.
The pool was also closed for maintenance, which is just unlucky timing I guess."

Der Pool ist ein Plus wenn gerade Ebbe ist und das Meer zu flach zum Schwimmen. Der Strand ist direkt um die Ecke und ein absoluter Traum, es gibt viel Schatten, feinsten Sand und ein nettes Restaurant, sodass man gar nicht weg muss.

Can rent a scooter from the resort at a competitive price which is very handy.

"We loved our short stay at Buri Rasa. Such a special place in Koh Phangan. We visited and stayed all over the island and this resort is by far the classiest. We stayed in the wooden bungalow, which is not in a great condition, a bit small and not so good facilities (bathroom, crack in the main door that insects can go through and more)
We would have taken the normal rooms which seems pretty good.

"Exceptional Stay at Bougain Villas – Koh Phangan
We had a wonderful stay at Bougain Villas in Koh Phangan. The property is spotless, extremely well run, and beautifully maintained. Trust me when I say this—I’m fussy when it comes to cleanliness, and this place exceeded expectations.
The people truly make this place special. Every staff member is kind, gracious, and genuinely goes out of their way to help. One of the lovely reception ladies even drove my husband to the pharmacy at the last minute, an act of kindness we won’t forget.
The location is excellent, just a short walk down the path to Salad Beach and nearby restaurants. A special shoutout to Salad Hut, which is hands-down the best amazing food and incredible service.
Thank you, Bougain Villas, for welcoming us so warmly and making our stay so comfortable. We wish you an incredible and successful 2026. We would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Koh Phangan."

"I wouldn't normally stay at a bungalow styled residence like this, but I was pleasantly surprised. I found the room pretty spacious. I would've liked to have a safe. There were some friendly resident cats which was nice to see. The highlight has to be the views from this place. Whether you're at the restaurant, the pool, or any one of the excellent cabins, you get one of the best views on the island. The staff was also very friendly and ready to help with a smile. I had a very smooth stay."

The property is well-maintained and offers a stunning view. The staff are very friendly and responsive, always making sure we felt comfortable. The area is a bit quiet, which is nice, but transportation is limited if you don’t rent a car. Breakfast was very good, and overall the service was excellent. I would recommend this property for families — just keep in mind that renting a car will make getting around much easier."
