This hotel is one of the best I have been to in Thailand. The staff is very good and observant, the standard is good and it has a marvelous location. However, due to some incidents, I can't give it the grade it deserves.
To start with the aircon in our room did not work properly and we complained four times before we were upgraded to another room. Twice the aircon started to shoot ice on us in the bed. Not a pleasant experience, but the worst thing was the totally hopeless manager of the breakfast restaurant. She doesn't understand what good service is and seem not to be interested to correct things for the better, maybe because she is a relative to the owner.
We complain that the breakfast was getting poor if you came late. Some items were never filled after it was finished. When confronting the manager about it she said it was because my wife ate it all!!
True, my wife loves watermelon and she ate more than an average customer, but you can't say that to a paying customer!
We asked her to apologise but she refused, hence this poor review fro us.
