"We were so satisfied with this hotel. The room was large, spotless and extremely well equipped. Many amenities were free of charge. The happy hour on the roof, overlooking the city was delightful. The location in Kyoto is perfect. Most of all, the staff was extremely helpful. I had to go to the hospital for two days in Kyoto and the staff really helped smooth this situation and was so kind upon my return to the hotel. I would rate this hotel a 10+."

Heads up kids over age 6 are considered adults for the room. Be sure to explore the alley ways off the market streets for fun bars and delicious food options. The free sake tasting was a fun treat as well. Would definitely go back."

"This is an incredible way to experience the culture of Kyoto! The hosts are quick to respond to any questions in perfect English. It's clear they have been doing this for a long time and have mastered it! They even provided us instructions in Japanese to give to our taxi drivers (which was a life saver!).
