"We had 3 fantastic stays at the Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa. Very service minded staff that took good care of us from arriving to checkout. Room was spacious, nice and comfortable - and the hotel has a small rooftop terrace. Area is quiet and nice, but with a selection of amazing small restaurants close by. We will stay here again when we visit Kyoto. "
"This place is just amazing in every way. The view from our room overlooking the kamo river is very picturesque. The layout of the room is very well designed and the room is huge and tastefully decorated. The location is close to the subway and minimarts. Love the microwave, the 2 televisions, and the washing machine.

"Wonderful place to stay, we loved that the area was in a real neighborhood and not touristy. The only complaint is the main bedroom faces a an alley that has a motion activated light that shines bright on and off all night while you are trying to sleep. Dark shade would help this situation. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Koko Hotel. Great great stay (especially with kids) as the room was super spacious and had everything we needed. The location was amazing and pretty much everything we needed was within walking distance and there was an amazing coffee shop right out the front door. Only issue regarding cleanliness was the carpeting probably needed an extra vacuum and some of the cutlery wasn't cleaned well, but this was really minor and otherwise everything was perfect. ...
