"We loved our stay at Hotel Niwa. In fact it was one of the best hotels we stayed in throughout our 50 years of traveling throughout the world. Hotel Niwa has many wonderful amenities like self laundry machines, plus rooms for tranquility, outside decks, and a quiet room of massage chairs. The breakfast is fantastic with an amazing assortment of delicious foods. Perhaps best of all, the staff is exceptional in their helpfulness, knowledge, and kindness. We highly recommend Hotel Niwa to all travelers."

"Pros: The gardens are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I sat there with the koi fish for an hour. Super peaceful. Location is great too! Bunch of restaurants & shops inside the building. This place literally looks like a mall lol... Cons: Rooms look OLD OLD OLD and smell old. Restaurants are EXTREMELY expensive tho. Tepanyaki for 2 people 560$ USD like WHAT?????????????"

"Excellent location and the in-suite washer & dryer is a godsend. The toilet was wonky in that you had to hold the flush handle down for > 5 seconds (instead of pushing it down briefly once). Also, the washroom had a bit of a fecal smell and one of the electrical outlets didn't work. But other than that it was very clean and spacious."
