"Staff are excellent and its all very laid back. Rooms are large and well equipped. No safe in the room but didnt feel like an issue. Very quiet and comfortable hotel, with wide selection at breakfast. Used them for airport drop off and a day trip. About 10 mins max walk into the centre either by river or on road. Lots of fining options within 5 mins"

"This property is lovely. It is right on the river with a great view and slightly away from the craziness of central area. The room has tile floors and is very large. AC works great. The breakfast was plentiful and made to order and the coffee was great too. I appreciated all the info that was provided to us as well the free use of bikes! Also the pool was perfect temperature and we always got a spot on the chairs. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We booked six nights in February 2026, and after reading some of the negative reviews we were considering cancelling the booking. We are really pleased we didn't cancel. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast didn't have lots of choice, but was adequate. We never found a problem to get seated, and it was a pleasant environment overlooking the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave a welcoming greeting to us every morning. The pool was clean, and was never crowded when we stayed. There is a choice of restaurants very close by, where we ate every night before the easy walk into the old town. We stayed at four hotels this visit in Vietnam, two of which were five star hotels, but when looking back over, we enjoyed our stay at the Emotion Villa/ Hoi an, the most favourable. Would definitely, and seriously thinking of staying next year. "
