"This hotel was wonderful - location was perfect yet it was on a nice quiet street. The front desk staff was super helpful and everything in the room was great - it was very clean and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!"

"It was our second stay at Jules & Jim and it did not disappoint. Such a beautiful little hotel in Marais. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and seemed happy in their jobs. The breakfast was great. The rooms were on the small side as they tend to be in Paris but very well equipped and ours with a balcony. The location is perfect for walking around Marais, Bastille and getting to sights like Notre Dame by foot. The closest metro (Arts et Metiers) is 5 min walk from the hotel. Gare du Nord is a 15 min taxi ride away. Great location, beautiful hotel, super staff and excellent breakfast - you need to book here!"

"Location, reasonable price, unit was exactly as described with kitchenette. I knew it would be semi-automated (ie. not a hotel with a front desk or concierge) but the email communication with codes and instructions to enter were clear and sent on a timely basis. No problems! My only issues were my own responsibility that I didn’t look into beforehand. My unit was four floors up, no elevator. And no air con (heatwave week). But those oversights were on me, they didn’t try to hide those facts :). Overall, it was perfect for my stay. I built some muscle on those stairs !"

"Loved the hotel, loved the location. I’m going to give an honest review, the breakfast is not worth it. There was very little variety and I ended up only having coffee and a croissant. Also, the key system is a bit odd! It is a giant old-school key, that they recommend leaving at the front desk when you leave, because it is very heavy and hard to carry in a small bag. One thing I HIGHLY recommend the hotel get is a do not disturb sign. We ran into the housekeepers two of our three days and told them we did not need cleaning. But the third day we left very early and didn’t see them, and they came in our room and cleaned. That may be fine for some people, but I prefer no one into my room when I am on vacation, unless I am there. So that was a big thumbs down for me. Other than that, the rooms were clean, comfortable, in a great location, and we had balconies and a beautiful view."

"All the staff was helpful, especially Moadh. Because we were staying for 9 days, they upgraded us to a larger room. They had an issue with the AC in our room but they gave us a fan and was fixed the next day! The room was very clean. We had a great experience with 1K. The only issues we had was that the walls were black and hallways are VERY dark. There was hardly any light! Also our bed was on a platform and you don’t watch yourself, you can trip and fall."

"First time to Paris this location was outstanding. Only issue was that it was hottest record breaking week in Paris and they had us on 5th floor ac was not cold and could not sleep. Next day they moved us to floor 1 which was much cooler and gave us fans. breakfast cook called out 1 day and food was limited. They tried their best to adjust as things popped up. We booked last min so we paid 500-600 a night was is very exp for us. If you are paying the normal 200-300 a day it's fine just stay low floors if you can take the heat. Staff was very nice."
