"The staff were very courteous at check in and check out. The flat was mostly clean and comfortable. The flat was in a good location for us. However, it was rundown and needs to be re-painted, a lot of marks on the walls. One of the towels had a big hair ball in it. The shower had a lot of rust all over it from top to bottom. The toilet is in the corner and it’s not easy to sit properly on it if you’re a bigger person. I think the flat needs to be refurbished. "

"No Parking close by to drop off luggage. Treacherous, steep downhill path through a park to take several heavy suitcases. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled...

"The hotel is lovely. Lots of little touches in the room and excellent service from all of the staff. The pub is perfect. Great service, great food, lovely beer garden and beautifully decorated. It’s the kind of pub/hotel you want as your local. "

"Edwina is a fantastic host and lovely to get to know. West End Lodge is in a nice location and there are plenty of different restaurants within a fifteen-minute drive or a five minute walk. The Lodge is also well placed for trains to London or a short distance from Hampton Court. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area."

"Stayed here again as just down the road from the racecourse. Rooms are ok but the bed was dreadful! Metal headboard and it squeaked all night at the slightest bit of movement! (Room 6) Water, tea and coffee all provided. No breakfast facilities so you have to go out. Would recommend if you just need to get your head down"
