"Overall a good hotel. Nice staff, clean rooms, lots of parking spaces available, and only a short drive from downtown Reykjavik. Know that early check-in will very likely not be accommodated. "The hotel is easily accessible from the highway with a vehicle. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Upon request, they are able to provide bagged breakfasts to go if you are leaving before their breakfast starts. Without a vehicle the dining and shopping options around the area are limited. "The apartment was very nice and is highly recommended for two people (see below). It was light and had an open feel. There are very good cooking facilities. It is somewhat outside of Reykjavík centre and so car is needed. The main downside is that there are no blackout blinds in the bright living area where the large sofa bed (for person 3 & 4) is located. So if you are planning to come in May - July (when Iceland never gets properly dark), then I would only recommend the apartment for two...

"So this place was a good place to stay as we start our drive around the country. It's in the middle of nowhere (by beach though) but not scenic. The room is comfortable and clean. It's really quiet. "Vi havde et dejlig ophold i den hyggelige, store hytte #1. Den lidt ældre hytte havde sin helt egen charme og var meget pæn og rengjordt ved ankomst. Børnene elskede den store hems hvor de sov og kunne se ned til det store køkken/alrum. Selve køkkenet var godt indrettet med stort køleskab, 4 kogeplader, ovn og vask. Vi har dog savnet nogle køkkenredskaber som fx. en palet eller en osteskærer. Hvis man har tænkt sig at booke et længere ophold i hytten er det måske godt at vide at der ikke er...
