"Cozy hotel with very sympathetic and welcoming staff. It feels very much like home. The rooms are fine and clean. Their restaurant has a menu with good options for lunch and dinner. It does not have a lift, so, if carrying heavy luggage, it might be a little effort. The curtains in the bathroom could be a little thicker to make the shower experience more pleasant. Otherwise, I only have compliments on the quality of the premises, the service and the personnel. "

It is a well-maintained hotel with cheerful and helpful staff. I had a wonderful lamb Sunday roast with a great pint of cider. The room was cozy and quiet, with a superb view of the town and castle.
