"We enjoyed our stay here. It is a bit out of the way but great if you want a quieter location away from the busy city. The hotel garden was a real delight as was the private sauna. It was beautiful to walk along the river and see the trees on the mountain. We loved the Japanese breakfast, the samue clothes and sandals they supply. We ate dinner there one night and it was fine but not outstanding and the price was high for the small portions. It’s worth noting that there are very few affordable...

"It was a great experience of staying at Yuzanso Hotel. This hotel is friendly for muslim visitor as their has a halal food for muslim. Hotel decoration is nice and cozy. Futon bed is very comfortable and makes more japanese feeling. In room private onzen is super awesome experience. Food is tasty. The room can see biwa lake which is very beautiful."

"This is the perfect place for an authentic Japanese experience. The staff are wonderful and the meals are superb. Tranquil surroundings with a 5 star multi-course meals each day for breakfast and dinner. The sauna and hot baths were great for winding down after a day of touring. Touring was easy because bus lines and train lines are nearby. We were sorry to leave the Tea House and really hope to return some day. "

"Super location and quiet room with real Japanese style bed on floor. Practical for trips into town or further since bus stops are right beside the building. Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. If I visit Kyoto again I would love to stay here again."

"Lovely hotel in a quieter part of Kyoto but very close to amenities and to various attractions including Heian Jingu Shrine, Yasaka Shrine. Also in walking distance to Gion. Reception staff are friendly, the room and bathroom are a good size and are clean/well-maintained They have a laundry room which is really helpful The hotel is also 2 minutes from the Higashiyama metro station and about 10 minutes from Sanjo station so also conveniently placed for any day trips Would definitely recommend...
