"The property appears to have many rooms. If you don’t like a lot of stairs it would be worthy of noting what level you are going to be on. We ended up with a fifty stair climb but it was worth the ascend."

"We loved our stay at Villa Viridia! The front desk staff were so helpful to us in terms of suggestions, directions and even arranging transportation. Our room was lovely and we really enjoyed the excellent espresso and buffet in the mornings. The buffet staff also went out of their way to be kind and so helpful. "Excellent hotel in excellent location in quiet neghborhood but with a lot of good inexpensive restaurants (compare to U.S,). What is important close to small canals so you carry luggage from water taxi less than 100 meters, as there are no cars in Venice. Good breakfast, there is a small food supermarket selling food, water, wines on the same square as hotel less than 100m. Rialto Bridge 10 min walk, St Mark square 15 min walk."

"Staff was wonderful. Room was comfortable, and the breakfast satisfying. Be mindful you will have to carry your own luggage upstairs. Not a problem for us, as our rule for European travel is to never back more than you are willing to carry up a flight of stairs. Location is convenient to Rialto Bridge and water taxi stop. We really enjoyed our stay."
