"The Hoxton was a nice, comfortable, convenient hotel close to the city centre for all touristy things. Our room was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed staying here. "
"Great stay. We were only there one night but we will definitely be back. Lovely building and the rooms are huge, everything is so carefully thought out. We loved the honesty shop and breakfast, and my daughter loved the little toy area. "
"I couldn’t believe how beautiful this property is and the attention to detail was impeccable. Even the lounge area with cappuccino, latte, pastries, etc. were a pleasant surprise. It’s in the perfect location too, we walked everywhere without any problems."

"The Royal Mile has become a zoo, but it's also the spine of Edinburgh (literally), and so a hotel on an extension of the Royal Mile that's both centrally located and not quite so frenetic is a great compromise. The service was very good, the rooms clean, and the cooking facilities and full-size fridge meant we ate out when we wanted to, not because we had to. The included breakfast was about average (please find a better supplier for the consistently stale pain au chocolat!) but filling, and we found everything easily walkable, from the castle to Arthur's Seat (okay, climbable) to the Water of Leith. I'd happily stay here again if we return to Edinburgh."
"Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location and walkable to all attractions or get on a bus or tram stop right outside. You are right in town so expect city noises, lighting and smells."
"Amazing stay with my daughter and husband. Excellent location as we were able to walk from the train station. The Royal Mile was so close. We shared a room and used a sofa bed. It was a bit cramped but we expected that. Bar was great. We stayed 2 nights. "
