"The tv in the room didn’t work I called reception they said someone was on the way up to the room - they never came Peacock out side the room all night and morning squawking and people running up and down the corridors all night "

"Lovely hotel, great spa facilities, lovely room, with some noise as the bottles from nearby bars and restaurants are emptied when your room is at the back of the hotel. You do have to pay extra at the hotel when using the spa facilities if your booking is through Expedia. This is £40 per day, which is not made obvious at all. Parking is on the street, of £30 per day at the hotel. But street parking along the Crescent is free. "

"We stayed for three nights. There was absolutely no service, no cleaning at all, and remnants of the previous guest’s trash were still in the room. My body broke out in severe hives from the very first night, which gradually worsened. Considering the price we paid, the service was extremely poor."

"Very clean rooms staff were lovely and friendly. Downside was buffet breakfast being virtually cold And extortionate prices for non alcoholic drinks ie £2.50 for a glass of soda water which was nearly flat. The hotel is pet friendly which is a bonus for people "

"Positives - beautiful hotel in great grounds. Had tea in the restaurant which was very good. Bed was huge. Negatives - couldn't get bath to work and my wife was kept awake during the night by noise in room next door. Use of the spa was £20 per person (which I was willing to pay) but was then told we couldn't use it until 5pm. We'd arrived at 3pm with plan to go in spa before our friends arrived later. "

"Enjoyed our stay overall. Evening food wasn’t great and restaurant seemed a bit cafeteria like considering how beautiful the hotel is. Pool was too cold."

"This would probably have been a totally fine stay except there was about 50 members of the same family staying there, maybe 75, and their kids were marauding round the hotel leaving trash, upturned chairs, broken glasses etc all over the place. The bar was a no go area because they'd taken over, so loud. Not enough staff to police the bad behavior or clean up and the parents were doing nothing. Pool was absolutely rammed and not a place my kids wanted to hang out - tiny and busy, despite booking...

"Good sized clean rooms and the hotel is run by a friendly, approachable team. I didn’t get the chance to use to amenities so I can’t comment. Plenty of on-site car parking. I would recommend this hotel."

"Was overall excellent, just little points , couple tiny holes in net curtain on window, shower head wouldn't angle downwards , but was great strong shower over bath not walk in , bit of an older style , toilet roll not best quality bit rough , but soap and gel amazing smell, bed was comfy, single beds moved about a bit on wheels. Pool was good, good length, warm , jacuzzi could have been a little hotter but was nice . Changing rooms had everything, hairdryers , tongs and spin dryer for costumes...

"Very clean and modern. Long wait at check in when we checked in at 18:30. Rooms were lovely. Restaurant staff were slow but food good. Breakfast great. They had an Easter egg hunt on the the children which was great. £9 for parking seems quite high. "

"What a beautiful oasis...set in peaceful pretty surroundings. The spa was fantastic,dinner was amazing and the breakfast ..out of this world. The staff so polite and helpful. Il be back..just what I needed. "
