"We chose this hotel because it advertised a swimming pool and thought it would be a nice treat for my son and me. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. At check-in, we were kindly offered a complimentary room upgrade, which we appreciated. Sadly, the upgraded room felt more like a downgrade. There was no toilet paper, no iron, the toilet roll holder was broken. Although reception brought toilet paper and an iron when requested, no one was able to repair the broken toilet...

"Received a parking charge even though we went to reception on arrival and correctly wrote our car registration correctly on a form provided by staff. Wife rang hotel today and person who answered automatically guessed what the issue was suggesting this is a very common issue with this hotel. "Crew Hall represents the last Hurrah of Victorian and Edwardian country house revamps. The public rooms, foyer and chapel are architectural gems. But it have comfortable spacious modern bedrooms combining its historic charm with modern comforts. The rooms are spotless, the staff charming and the breakfast excellent. Have stayed before will stay again"

"I paid £55 for family room, apparently other rooms start at £35. I didn’t need the family room but surprisingly it was all that they had left. The Hotel is undergoing some much needed refurbishment, everything about the hotel is dated, and either worn out or broken. "Lovely hotel. Stayed with my wife for her birthday. We had a deluxe room which was quite a long walk from hotel reception. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was massive! Only negative points for the room were the amount of cobwebs and dust around light fittings and soundproofing between rooms. We could clearly hear people in other rooms using their toilet facilities. "hotel is ok. self check in doesn't work mostly which you would think they can fix this. rooms have no Aircon so if its warm i wouldn't stay there. they give fans in the room. its not a horrible hotel but its really on par with a holiday inn or similar. its not really a great hotel but ok if the prices are cheap then its not a bad place to stay. overall they try to minimize any help or extras to keep costs low which i guess is how it goes."
