"Everything about this place is top notch. It’s clean - and I mean clean, clean - , the staff is fantastic, food is great, and the rooms are spacious. Good location, too. We were made feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and they remembered me by name or room number without me having to say anything. Wonderful.
Nepal itself is absolutely amazing, too. One of the best trips of our lives. City is super clean; no garbage bags scattered everywhere and no sewage- or garbage-smells. Artisans...

"Special mention to Mamata!
I recently stayed, and prior to arriving exchanged over 40 emails with Mamata regarding my son's birthday.
Mamata always responded straight away and was so helpful. The decorations were very tasteful and beautiful.
Upon arrival a few small issues were immediately rectified , (again , by Mamata) ..a real credit to the hotel.
All the staff were very friendly and the massages at the Spa were amazing.
I loved Kathmandu and shed a tear when leaving.

"We were given a "Business Room" that was spacious but very, very run down. The bed was awful and you could feel every move and shake in it, which is terrible with a small child. The couch was very worn and weirdly short. The desk and table had spill stains that wouldn't come out. The toilet flushers were broken plastic and constantly getting stuck. The cleaning products used in the hallways smelled terrible, like toxic levels of naphthalene.
The jacuzzi water was orange. Not suitable to swim...
