"I had an excellent stay at Holiday Inn Express Kathmandu. The staff was outstanding and very attentive. I appreciated the small gestures and their going the extra effort to accommodate and assist. I loved that the hotel is not in a busy area with good restaurants nearby. I would just walk to the places I visited like Thamel and take tour or taxi the rest of the time. My only complaint which may not be the fault of the hotel is the taxi service pick-up from the airport. It was smooth and professional but I found it very expensive relative to everything else in Kathmandu especially considering how close the airport was to the hotel. Maybe the hotel can adjust the rate or negotiate a lower, more realistic amount."

"Lovely hotel close to the airport. I was just staying in Kathmandu for one night, whilst waiting for my onward flight. Nice clean rooms, good food in the restaurant, and a buffet breakfast. They also arranged a shuttle back to the airport. Many thanks 😊"

"Gotta be straight with ya . . Perfect location . . smack in the middle of everything. The best deep tissue 90 minute massage in Nepal. , . I had it 2 two times with Ms.Pramila at their in house spa. Over the top great . . The second time was when I came off a 14 day trek to Mount Everest Base Camp . . Ms. Pramila came in on her day off just for me . . Serious!! Ms. Aayusha on the front desk . . Was exceptional in all aspects . . Professional. Positive. Outgoing. Perfect English. Natural talent in making clients feel welcome and special. I will be back . . Thank you to a strong team of people . . Housekeeping, Front Desk, Restaurant, Spa."

"Great location in Kathmandu. The beds were very comfortable, room spacious and staff attentive. Breakfast had an amazing spread. I used the pool late afternoon and it was pretty cold- even though they said the sun would heat it during the day. It was worth it for the spectacular view and sunset with eagles soaring in the sky."

"This hotel is clean, close to many restaurants, shops and central to all things tourist life but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood area so very quiet at night. The restaurant has good food too. If you want authentic Nepalese cuisine ask for it as normally they tone down the chili for the tourists. Breakfast was good. AC works great too as well as fast WiFi. Staff and Service were exceptional as they kept our bags for a few days when we were trekking tigers. We would stay here again."
