"Brand new hotel in Tinchuli near Boudhanath, very modern facility, great rooms with diverse layouts nicely accomodating both groups and solo travelers. Wonderful local neighborhood to explore and enjoy the activity around Boudha stupa. Hotel Sherpani is same quality as the big 4 star brand hotels I've stayed in ktm, but with more local culture. "Bujan picked me up at the airport as pre-arranged and transferred me to the hotel. It was a pleasant comfortable journey and Bujan was friendly and hospitable. He proved equally friendly at the hotel checkin and efficiently got me set up in a well appointed spacious room with a nice view of the pool and garden for my short stay. "It’s an ideal place to stay in Kathmandu. Right in the middle of Thamel, so you’re right by the restaurants, bars and attractions but it’s off the street so is delightfully peaceful and quiet. All the staff were polite and efficient, breakfast was great- I got an excellent freshly made omelette snd coffee. The gentlemen who make them were both fantastic and deserve extra praise. Someone kindly carried my bag for me and they hired a comfortable and clean cab for me. "
