Nostalgic 1980’s feel. 4 lava lava restaurant bar .. dated. People were nice, bartenders very curt. 5 parking rating poor. Forced to valet park each day to get a parking space. 6 bicycle available free was really great Overall would never stay there again or recommend to friends. "

"The room was hard to cool."

"Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant week. The first couple of days cigarette smoke was coming into our room and eventually got moved to another slightly better room. we then had awfully loud neighbours who seemed to never leave their room but the musi. was so loud it would wake us up at all hours of the night. Admittedly these incidents are beyond the hotel's control; however the way they deal with them is what matters and that's what we had a problem with. Management seem to be never available, nobody is on duty until 7:30 we were told, most staff we encountered at this hotel seemed to not care about anything (except awesome Rachel in the restaurant). There was never any follow up about any complaints, nor explanation as the hotel procedures with guest concerns, even after 6 nights out of seven when security or management was called. Our resort fee, which is silly anyway, was eventually waived but we had to ask for that to be done, not proactively offered. Not a pleasant stay at all, and did not leave feeling like the staff cared at all."
