"The cabin was really cute! However, the furniture in the living space was old and gross! We didn’t really feel comfortable even sitting on it. The floors did not look swept as there was food crumbs all over the floor, and huge spider webs in the corners of the walls. The bathroom appeared clean which was a relief! The outside light and all around the door was covered in webs and bugs which a huge turn off. The location is great- right across the street from the lake and the ferry and walkable...

"The hotel takes a beating from summer tourists. We were there October 1st. It needed a good post season cleansing that hasn't happened yet."

"Beautiful view at this motel! Beds and room were clean and comfy, pleasant and helpful staff. The beach had a fire out with lots of places to sit. I'd definitely stay again."

"You won't lack for anything. There plenty of chairs and rooms from which to choose for some private reading/reflection time. The front porch is very welcoming and delightful. The staff is kind and helpful."

"Room was nice and clean. Great view of the beach, lake , and bridge. Saff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Could have had more options."

"Staff was great. Very helpful with the broken microwave. Waterpark good for kids 10 or under. Lots of chlorine. Rooms were ok. Very worn. Could use updates. If you like a super firm mattress this is for you. Location was great!!"

"Great location. Room was clean. Staff was helpful. My son and I took the kayaks out for a spin on the river. Close to Harbor Spring, Petoskey and Mackinaw Island. The breakfast was above the typical hotel food station. There is a fire pit overlooking the river along with a barbeque. Very nice place compared to a couple of other hotels on the way back to Montana."

"I was surprised when the front desk gave me a veterans discount on my room rate. Awesome!"
