"Lovely warm helpful welcome. Room spacious, clean with everything you would normally expect. Bed comfortable. Lots of parking. Small but pleasant swimming pool. The ladies toilet behind reception has stunning lily of valley tiles and nice floor tiles - I really hope they dont update these and instead turn this area into an art deco showcase! "Don't let the pictures fool you. The swimming pool looks like a big bath tub. The room I had was on the second floor. The carpet in the hallway needs repacling. What really turns me off is the location of the extra toilet rool. It's located at the foot near the toilet bowl. It looks dirty. I have to ask for fresh rolls instead. Anyways, it's not worth the price. But after all, we are in the UK where everything is expensive."

"We stayed in the newly refurbished annex at the back of the property. A very quiet, cool room for a hot Saturday night stay. Exceptionally clean with everything you could want including tea/coffee making facilities & chocolate biscuits. Costs were higher than normal as event on at the St Mary’s Stadium but still a great stay despite the inflated price."
