"Service was awful throughout, no amenities & staff lost control of the reception. Disappointing that reception didn’t have spare toothbrushes or toothpaste available. Basic emergency toiletries are something I’d expect a hotel to stock for guests. Loud arrival with what looked like some kind of school prom, kids and young adults playing and jumping all over the reception area and access to the stairs leading to the rooms. "The room was good and clean and the chap on the reception was very sweet. I would suggest they have a closer look at the hand rail up the stairs as it’s very grubby."

"Lovely friendly staff but they didn't seem to know anything. There was no mention about breakfast times and location etc on check in. We asked about the pool but the staff in the main building didn't know whether it was included or not (it's not). When searching for a hotel, I specifically selected Air Con as a filter, but what I didn't realise until too late, is the rooms that came up on my search don't have any - fortunately it cooled down the night we were there. Lovely big rooms."

"This feels like a motel, with a mediocre pub attached, which was ok as I was just wanting a bed for the night. The room was spacious but wasn’t as clean as you’d expect, Doors were banging through the night didn’t help sleep! I ate at the pub. The food was poor value really, even though my expectations were not high. When the dish arrived half the advertised ingredients had been forgotten so had to ask the staff to try again."
