The Reception staff were lovely. We were disappointed with our rooms though - the floorboards creaked very loudly at any slight movement.The rooms were very tired & dated and the bathroom in Room 31 was very '70s with a poor shower over the bath with a shower curtain. The room was very cold too. We only had one set of towels in two of the three rooms I booked & the bath towel in our room was was damp but the lady in Reception gave us extra towels & replaced the damp towel. The hotel itself downstairs was beautiful & the breakfast was delicious. creaked really badly & the roo. Was

Great stay

I stayed one night at this hotel and overall had a great experience. The customer service was excellent, especially the waiting staff in the breakfast area who were very attentive. The room was massive with a lovely view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The bus service was also very convenient and well-organized. The only downside was the lack of a lift. With a large piece of luggage, I had to carry it upstairs, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, everything was very nice and I truly enjoyed my stay.

The Hotel is a lovely building and the grounds are beautiful, we were upgraded to another room which was so spacious and comfortable and the bed was so comfy, Jamie and i didn't get the other mans name on reception, they were amazing, made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble, i would stay here again.

We had a lovely stay; the staff were lovely, the food was great, and the kids and I enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, if a little dated, and the building and its surroundings were pretty. Would happily stay here again.
