My room was old with cracked sinks, peeling bedside reading lamps, warped refrigerator door, non-ventilating bathroom vent. After every shower the floor was wet. The bed and pillow were uncomfortable. The swim up bar was small, paint was peeling, the pool water was stagnant with no filter on. "My 3y/o daughter and I had an amazing time at The Royal. I opted for the Imperial Club. The staff was kind, attentive to detail, professional and courteous. None of my needs were left undone. The shuttle drivers are kind and courteous. It would be nice if there were designated open smoking areas away from the popular common pathways since this is a kid friendly hotel."

"We enjoyed our getaway. Beautiful views of bay and ocean. Our room overlooked the turquoise ocean water. What a spectacular way to wake up and fall asleep with sound and sight of waves. Staff was very kind. Family style place-don’t expect luxury here. Rooms are clean and has coffee machine with pods and mini fridge. Wonderful time to chill and let go as it’s a simple island lifestyle. Enjoyed use of kayaks exploring waters and surroundings. ."
