"We loved our three day stay! It was a 10min walk to a fabulous bakery and 15min walk to the village. We were treated to a weekend festival with food and music each of the three nights we were there. It was an easy drive from the airport and to all locations of interest on the island. We would recommend this place to couples or families travelling to Pico who want a quiet and relaxing vacation."

"The Angra Marina Hotel has an amazing view of the harbour, and easy access off of one of the main roads and is a short walk down to the harbour and nearby shops and restaurants. Although be aware that the only entrance to the hotel is at the top of a steep hill and there is no access to/from town from the lower levels. However, the hotel itself is dated and poorly maintained - the elevators say they're going down but go up, the roof paint was peeling in the pool area, the bathrooms in the room...

"Nous avons passé un très agréable sejour dans cet ancien couvent réaménagé avec le confort moderne. Le cadre du bâtiment est extraordinaire, les espaces extérieurs sont un parc arboré et fleuri. La piscine est propre ainsi que les abords. L'accueil de l'arrivée au départ est très professionnel et sympathique. Le petit-déjeuner est composé de produits frais, dont des ananas cultivés dans les serres de l'hôtel. Boissons et pâtisseries restent à disposition des clients toute la journée. "

"El alojamiento es adecuado, pero las expectativas de las fotos no se cumplen. Muebles en estado deficiente, mucha humedad, baño terriblemente oscuro y presencia de insectos. Una cosa es estar en mitad del campo y otra no disponer de un adecuado control de plagas. Y en Azores,… por su localización, estas pueden ser variadas. Además, en las fotos figura una piscina que ni vimos ni se nos ofreció en ningún momento. "
