"The Marlborough is a pub with tasty food and about five rooms for overnight stays. The staff is outstanding and does everything possible to be helpful. It is on a central street of a very small town, so it can be a bit noisy during the day and early evening, but is quiet at night. "Nice comfortable hotel an easy walking distance from everything in Colchester. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good quality. I liked the fact that breakfast is 'a la carte', as that reduces wastage. Cleanliness is good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!"
