The team at Silkotel are very nice and friendly. Thank you to Lyn and Alice who were super helpful with our room. The hotel itself is in a great location right near Hoi An old town, close to great tailors, restaurants and some of the main attractions in Hoi An.

Really lovely hotel located conveniently close to Ancient Town. Buffet breakfast was a feast! As it was our anniversary, they really went above and beyond and surprised us with a little anniversary cake and flower petals on our bed. Rooms were spacious and well maintained.

This hotel is in a very good area. Because of Chinese New Year it was so busy. The staff were excellent and nothing was to much trouble. . We only had dinner once in hotel and we were disappointed. The breakfast was okay

The property is situated in a fantastic location. The rooms were very nice for the price. They did feel very humid and muggy and smelt like mildew at times. But no fault of hotel as Hoi Ann is rainy season now and it did not stop raining the entire 4 days we were there. The buffet breakfast provided daily as part of the room rate was fantastic. It has basically everything, even pho soup. Coffee was good too. The staff were amazing and always ready to assist. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I really did like this property! They were constantly on top of the cleaning, the rooms were very cozy and spacious, noise was minimal, location was fantastic. Breakfast was also top notch. The one bit of feedback i would provide (and did) to the property was that the odor of mildew/mold in the 2 rooms we had and the presence of black mold around the bathroom fan were problematic. I know Vietnam is so very humid and the buildings aren’t great for circulation but breathing in mold and mildew can be harmful, and the odor is really unpleasant. We tried to air it out but we couldn’t get a handle on it.

Overall, our stay here was ok. The location is great and only a short walk to the old town. I booked a balcony room but didn’t really get that - it was more of a door that opened up but not really outside. I could have asked to change rooms but felt it wasn’t worth it. The room was spacious but bedding could definitely be improved. The cleaning of our room only happened once during our 4 night stay. We would go out each morning and return about 2pm to the room which hadn’t been serviced. They seemed to come later in the day which wasn’t great for us. Breakfast was average. On our first day we arrived at about 8am (breakfast ends at 9:30am) and many items were empty and didn’t look like they were being restocked. Other hotels in Vietnam had a lot more variety including fresh squeezed juices (not bottled). Also very busy at times with lots of tour groups. The service of the hotel was good. We had an issue with a very loud frog who kept us awake with its croaking. They got onto it, sorted it out and then the next day asked us if we wanted to change rooms. We only had one more night left so didn’t bother. Alice on reception was excellent - very friendly and helpful.
