Lovely hotel close to Hoi An. The vintage design gives the place so much character. No elevator, but staff were super helpful carrying bags upstairs. Quiet and relaxing vibe – perfect for a getaway.

Charming little hotel near Hoi An! Though there’s no elevator, the staff is incredibly helpful and always ready to assist with luggage. The room is beautifully decorated in a classic vintage style, giving a cozy and nostalgic vibe. Great for a peaceful stay.

If you don’t mind taking the stairs, this hotel is a fantastic find. The small pool adds a cozy touch, and it’s so relaxing in the morning. The security guards were extremely attentive—always greeting us with a smile and ready to assist. Being within walking distance to Hoi An Ancient Town was a huge plus.

I know there was a flood a few months ago, but the rooms smelled really bad. Like sewage. It was clean enough but the smell made it unbearable. Towels are one per person and they are super thin. Toilet paper is hard to come by. They added a hostel downstairs so that was odd. No amenities at all. Location is central to Old Town so walkable to everywhere. Right next to the canal. Be prepared for mosquitoes especially if you aren’t mindful of keeping the door or windows shut - there are plenty of them! If you have the $$$, check out the big white hotel next door.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hoi An Canal House, our family room was perfect for our family, the beds were so comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious, the location was an easy walk to the sights of Hoi An, the pool was good, the value for money for a whole family was amazing and most of all the staff were incredible, so helpful and friendly! I highly recommend!!

Great staff, super friendly and provide good information to help your stay in Hoi An a fun and safe one. Rooms very clean but a slight smell to bathroom and parts of room showing age. Overall fantastic value for money, great communication prior to arrival and good location. The staff really make you comfortable for this stay.

Great location and excellent service

We loved our stay. The place was very clean, staff was wonderful. Location was also great. Bathroom would often have a odor. I'm assuming from the pipes. I just got to Vietnam so I don't know if that's a typical thing here with the plumbing.

Beautiful from the outside, comfortable on the inside. Great location for walking along the canal for the night market and nearby attractions and restaurants. Super clean, and I was surprised for a low cost hotel that they included amenities such as toothbrushes, tea and water. The bellman was very helpful and we were lucky to get the same gal at reception (Nyen Phuong). She had very good English and was friendly and efficient. The only bad things were the stairs (we were on the 3rd floor) and some noisy occupants in another room. I would stay again if a lower floor was available.

Very disappointed with this hotel as we received an email the night prior to check-in advising breakfast no longer provided, this occurred after our cancellation period as we would have cancelled and relocated. The breakfast rooms have converted to backpacker accommodation; we arrived and the toilet did not work and the safe battery was flat (this was never fixed); location was convenient; we were in room 201 -1st floor with canal/street view was nice. Hotel is a little tired, but staff are friendly. This hotel had been recommended to us, but the standard has dropped.

BE AWARE AND READ FULL REVIEW Hotel is locate 3 long blocks from Old town, limited reception, everything shuts down after 11pm, even outside lights, have to manage to get to your room in the dark. * No elevator, if your room is on 3rd floor, get ready to hike upstairs. Room is nice and comfortable, and it was clean Advertise free breakfast but, sandwich, egg toast, anything else you have to pay… Okay for what you pay, but there are many other hotel options. Picture online is not true reflection on hotel property
