Venice Lido with the beach is a perfect break after staying in Venice San Marco (we spent 2 nights in Venice, then 2 nights here on Lido). The hotel has a nice outdoor swimming pool (closes relatively early at 7 pm). The hotel is about 10 min walk to the paid beach (Des Bains), at the reception you can ask for an umbrella rent and towels (all for a reasonable fee), Des Bains feels like a quiet private beach, clean and not crowded at...

"A wonderful, clean hotel, with great AC, and very helpful staff! The location is excellent for train and bus travel, and our room was even nicer than I expected! Our only challenge was that the shower was set up such that you couldn't help but get water all over the bathroom floor each time someone used it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!"
