Quiet, private. Large room, great views. Beach was private. Hot tub doesn’t work. Sauna is Great. A bit far north from the reefs. Bed was pretty good.

This place is great because it has its own beach and is secluded from others by nature. The building is beautiful with a tranquil and friendly atmosphere. The room had ample space and enough pillows (which has never happened before, for us anyway). The only negative was a smell that would linger either from the surrounding mangroves or the plumbing. The continental breakfast was decent and we rode the bikes around the are to explore. Would definitely stay here again to get away from the crowds and noise.

Excelente opción en Cozumel

Excelente opción en Cozumel el dueño súper amable , todo funciona sin ruidos ni vecinos molestos . Muy buena y deferente opción en la isla , si hay personas con problemas de movilidad es buena opción la planta baja . Lugar de estacionamiento y muy seguro definitivamente regreso .

Totally recommend it !

The house is just gorgeous, the room is big and we had a beautiful view! The owner of the house is very gentil. The breakfast is simple and delicious. You need to rent a car or take a taxi to go to the city center, but the also have bikes at the house and you can borrow if you want. The only bad thing is that i think the bed is a little old and I had back pain

Property is very fabulous and has great interior design. Marble floors ans gorgeous wooden banister. AC works well and the views are incredible. Access to beach is only steps away. Breakfast is simple but cant complain about free. Beach is clean and quiet. Only downside is the ocean floor here is sea grass with no coral.

I really liked their beach. It is seaweed free, while whole Caribbean coast is drowning in seaweed. Also liked that it was very calm and felt like home.

Puerta del Mar hotel is a small bed and breakfast and a beautiful, amazing hidden gem. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a perfect ocean view. The bathroom was large and there was lots of closet space. The hotel is very secluded and peaceful and I will definitely be back. Raul, the property owner was very kind and helpful. I wouldn't recommend the hotel for families with small children, only because there are a lot of delicate decor pieces that might break. But for older children and couples it is perfect! The beach right in front is stunning. A welcomed break from the big tourist resorts since it is small and has more of a home feel. Very relaxing, serene and very clean. Highly recommend!

El servicio muy malo, los dueños muy déspotas y tiene exhibidas piezas arqueológicas: como si el saqueo fuera algo que exhibir al turismo. El jacuzzi no funcionaba bien y un trato pésimo hacia los niños. Jamás volvería a ir, ni aunque me pagaran.

Traumvilla am Meer. Sauberes Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Whirlpool und Fitnessraum vorhanden. Leider ist das Meer an der Stelle nicht so einladend gewesen, als wir da waren. Braun statt türkis wie wenige Kilometer südlich.
