"breakfast was good. Standard egg choices. They could have added pastries. Fresh fruit was delicious. Elevator needs replacing, its in bad shape. Room was very bare. No chair, no hooks to hang up clothes, no closet, old furniture. Bathroom had a weird smell. Staff was very good. "

"The kids pool and play park was not functioning or working properly. We did not know when we arrived that there had been a fire which took out multiple buildings, and has not been remediated in over three years. It was sad that there was such a limited booking availability for the alacarts. "

"This seemed like an older property, but was clean, had friendly staff, and had one of the best beaches in the area. The snorkeling is amazing right on the property; better than some excursions honestly. The downfall (for us) was the food. It definitely was ok, but the options were not great. We went downtown a couple days and treated ourselves to better than what was available on the resort. Bottom line is this property has a fantastic beach with awesome snorkling, but not great buffett options. For us, we will definitely stay here again because the beach and snorkeling are so worth it. Food can be gotten elsewhere if you dont care for the buffet. "

"The room was clean, bed comfortable. Nice view, though more obstructed than I expected. The staff were very annoyed- I didn’t feel particularly welcomed. Even at checkout, there was no conversation about how our stay was. When I asked for things like an extra blanket I was met with annoyance. The bartender was nice, when she was around, which wasn’t much. No washcloths provided, which I found odd. It is very very loud at night which is to be expected downtown, and to be fair the door kept the noise pretty low all things considered. I wouldn’t go back mostly bc I felt awkward the entire trip and I even speak Spanish so it’s not like I expected anything crazy in terms of communication. I still wonder if it was cultural expectations based on an American hotel. They weren’t hostile- but they were not accommodating. If you want to be downtown with easy access to everything- and a clean hotel with a decent breakfast, this is a fine choice. "
