Room was clean. Staff was very nice and attentive. Food was good. Nice long beach, unfortunately the seaweed was bad. Staff worked very hard trying to keep it under control.Pools were very clean, but cold. Overall, this is a nice resort and we would come back.

The property and staff were great! Lots of options for on-resort family activities, great access to the ocean and good food. All of the staff were tremendous - we’d like to give a specific shout out to Enrique at the recreation office and Bardo in Food services. This was our third visit to the Melia. We have brought several guests with us and there is very little complaining. The biggest negative is the pool temperature during winter months. The seaweed was also bad this January but that can’t be helped. The staff is always courteous and helpful. The hotel is always clean as are the rooms. Thanks again for a relaxing stay.

This hotel has a very large beach. Drinks are fabulous. Super friendly staff all over. Snorkeling is amazing with a little walk down the beach and float back to the sea wall. Literally best snorkeling of our life. Everything is cleaned constantly here. Food great...love the soups, fresh breads, ceviche, fresh fruit. We will be comong back. Fantastic value. Great area for swimming in ocean with no rocks out front. Next time we will bring the kids. Adults pool cool this time of year.

The rooms were very outdated. And you could see that there were a few spots that black mold was painted over. Food options are very limited — you have 1 buffet and then a restaurant to chose from twice if you stay 7 days. We ended up waiting for half an hour to get a glass of wine at the restaurant as well. The gym was nice and the beach had great sand!

Staff is wonderful!! The room was clean. A/c great. Pool clean. Fun activities: volleyball, soccer, mini golf, Zumba, drum healing yoga!! So much to do if you have kids. Very peaceful. Drinks lovely.
