We had a great time staying here. It was quiet, comfortable and convenient but do note that the old timey bed and breakfast aesthetic may not be for everyone. Very affordable and convenient to public transport and local drinking, dining and entertainment is of a high standard.

Such a great place to stay. We will come here again and again. The complimentary food is very generous and tasty. The decor and charming interior is period 1920s chic and yet homey. Fantastic service from the on site manager/ host.

We had the largest room at the B&B. It was roomy and comfortable. Rachel and Chris were great, very friendly and helpful. And Teddy, their dog. So sweet. Missing my dog, I got my dog fix from this adorable boy.

Great older property very well maintained and served our needs well. Safe area, close and easy access to trails and we had no problem finding parking a couple blocks down. Wonderful breakfast option on the weekend which was a pleasant surprise. First self check experience and although I was skeptical at first everything was effortless. Will definitely stay again when visiting the Chicago area.

I love the old classic style. Obviously it’s a dated building, but that’s part of the charm that I appreciate about the inn. Very friendly renters and a beautiful dog that’s often in the lobby. We didn’t get a chance to check out the speak easy, but would love to another time.

Charming, love that the place has history. My room came with a small living area and an assigned bathroom down the hall. All doors open with keypad which was awesome, didn't have to worry about losing my key. Mattress was comfortable. Owners were exceptional. Only note is the doors are loud so sometimes you can hear people coming and going, but mostly a non-issue. Would come again.

Super cute inn. Room is small but was a good size for us. Loved that the inn caretaker has a friendly dog. Great communication. Email included precise instructions and pictures. We found street parking quickly although I don’t know if that’s the norm. Walkable to Wrigley & a safe walk. Breakfast was as promised, basically a snack until we could get to a restaurant. I recommend paying extra for the attached bathroom.

This is a great location and one of the only places I found with free parking. I was able to find a spot about within 2 blocks each time I needed to park. The area felt very safe and had good choices for food nearby. Contactless check-in was great. The building is old and creaky, if you're very sensitive to noise this may not be the best choice for you. I was here for work and didn't have an issue going to bed early and waking up early!

We liked the unique qualities of the hotel and the neighborhood, and we had a court-facing room so it was quiet. Two comments to note: Towels - other than small hand towels - are not provided. And, although there is bread and toppings in the kitchen (along with other items), there is no toaster.

The property has a lot of character and is in a great location. There was a good amount of black mold on the window sill in the shower, the towels hanging in the bathroom appear to have been used, and the bedside lamp did not work. There was also no hair dryer that was listed in the amenities. It also would have been nice to have conditioner.

The room was very spacious. We had our own separate bathroom; it was close by, easy to access, and clean. It's a nice neighborhood. Rachel and Chris only recently took over managing this property and when I texted Rachel with a couple of minor issues she was very responsive. The candy in the lobby and the availability of cereal and coffee are nice touches. There is a loud bar next door. The noise didn't bother us too much but if that is a concern I suggest to ask for a room that is not directly on the street side.

Beautiful old house, but room should get an update

The location of the inn is great, within a nice neighborhood and within five minutes or less walking of Belmont L station. It is a beautiful old house with nicely decorated common spaces, however, our room, especially the bed, felt not that comfortable and the window-mounted AC was unpleasantly loud, as were the AC units of windows close to ours, so there were a lot of unpleasant noises at night. The bathroom was ok and we were pleasantly surprised by the simple breakfast that was included. Access to Room 13 is another nice feature, but we were unfortunately too tired to try it after our arrival on the same day.
