"Very clean and safe. Management office/reception right next door. Problem with showerhead was fixed the same day I reported it.
Location is wonderful! Walk to several adorable small restaurants - but not too many.
Windows are old and the trash collection in the mornings (8am?) may wake up light sleepers.
Not luxurious but great value and location. I would stay there again. "

"First time we stayed here and it will not be our last!!
Check-in was swift and although early, we were told they could swap rooms allowing us to check-in immediately.
The room was beautiful, clean, huge bed, quiet and had waters, chocolate and coffee/tea facilities.
All of the staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
When we checked out, we were able to leave luggage - Mohamed was lovely and made sure everything was safe.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
The Strand Palace is a fantastic hotel, it sits in the perfect area for tourist attractions in central London.
We would definitely recommend and certainly use again on another trip. It is what good hotels should endeavor to work towards."
