"The hotel is newly renovated and opened a month ahead of time. Except for two nights without TV (because the carpet installers cut the cable lines) our stay turned out great. The staff were courteous and efficient—and seemed genuinely pleased to see you (Al of to customer training). The hotel is across the street from the subway and a block from crosstown buses. And of course around the block from the theater district. I used to stay at the Penn across the street from The Garden whenever I came to NYC. Now it will be The Row"

"Air conditioning didn’t work at all while we were staying the two nights & it also happened to be in the high 80’s/low 90’s outside. The room was in the high 70’s the whole time we stayed. Management said the whole hotel’s units were down which is not an excuse… Items like air conditioning/ units should be a priority for a large hotel."

"Cannot expect the typical Hyatt hospitality or comfort. Rooms are great and location is incredible. Very limited food options. No Proper breakfast place. Staff is indifferent to your needs even to give basic direction on where to eat when arriving late in the evening. You pick the Hyatt brand expecting all this comfort and pay a lot of Montgomery to stay."

"The hotel staff is wonderful. The King Size bed option was very small. Like real small. You must call for ice to the room. They came promptly though and the gentleman who helped me figure out my TV came quickly too. No complaints. The bed was comfortable. Just what I needed for an overnight stay. I will select a different room next time if available."
