Nous avions une très belle et grande chambre avec la vue direct sur le lever du soleil dans la mer. Très propre avec un grand lit confortable. Les employés sont rendu notre séjour encore meilleur. La nourriture est variée et dèlicieuse.

upgraded the room when we got there. the standard room has no windows lol. overall, pretty great stay. there was some seaweed present but nothing horrible. beach was still amazing. pool is kind of small but the resort is more intimate in general. for the price it's a great resort!

Pros: beautiful beach side location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Enough daily activities to keep you occupied. Plenty of lounging chairs at the beach. Room is spacious and clean. However, the refrigerator and coffee tray is not well stocked. Cons: 4 out of 6 people in my group got food poisoning (vomiting, diarrhea, stomach ache, queasiness). Only 1 restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch (although there is a hotdog cart open during the lunch hour by the pool). It is very difficult to make reservations for their premier dinner restaurants: Chianti and Umami. The menu and quantity for all-inclusive guests at these restaurants are also limited. For example, at Chianti all inclusive guests are allowed to order 1 appetizer/soup/salad, 1 entree, 1 dessert. Although the breads at Chianti are excellent.

Während unseres Aufenthalts waren wir leider sehr enttäuscht vom Service. Ein Teil der Mitarbeitenden verhielt sich äußerst unhöflich. Besonders negativ ist uns der junge Mann bei der Ausgabe der Poolhandtücher aufgefallen. Ein derart respektloses Verhalten habe ich in all den Jahren noch nicht erlebt. Selbst nach einer Beschwerde wurde offenbar weiterhin auf Spanisch über uns gesprochen und getuschelt, was wir als sehr unangenehm empfanden. Zudem mussten wir einen Tag unseres Urlaubs mit Übelkeit und Erbrechen verbringen. Wir vermuten, dass dies möglicherweise mit dem Essen im Hotel zusammenhing. Darüber hinaus sind mehrfach Getränke aus dem Kühlschrank in unserem Hotelzimmer verschwunden. Niemand konnte uns erklären, wie es dazu kam. Nach unserer Beschwerde an der Rezeption reagierte die zuständige Reinigungskraft uns gegenüber ebenfalls sehr unfreundlich. Insgesamt hat dieses Verhalten unseren Aufenthalt stark beeinträchtigt und entspricht nicht dem Service, den wir erwartet hätten.

Almost all of the buffett food was just barely warm. Only got food was whatever was being made on the grill. Includes breakfast and dinner. There was one good night, the Asian theme dinner. At the deck restaurant the fries and potato wedges were cold, as if a bunch get made and left to be used, instead of being made fresh as this restaurant is made to order food. Fridge was empty when we arrived in our room, had to call to have that stocked. Safe battery low, so had to call for that to be taken care of. That was just the first night. Then we moved rooms because the traffic was so loud, which we had to pay a difference of a bit over $500 Canadian, just to get a room and again the fridge needed stocking, the air conditioning wasn't working properly, so had to have that looked at, the music echoed so loud from the lobby, approximately 10pm until midnight. The smell that comes from the shower drain is like sewage and there is no fan or window in the bathroom. Most of the workers were very kind, helpful and friendly.

The staff were excellent! They were very friendly and always willing to help! We mentioned we are on our honeymoon vacation and they upgraded our room for free and even included a free bottle of wine with chocolate-covered strawberries! We enjoyed the meals served at all the restaurants they offer.

We stayed at Hotel NYX Cancun last week, and it was our first time visiting Cancun. Overall, it was a great experience and we really enjoyed our stay. This is not a huge luxury resort, but that’s actually what we liked about it. The hotel has a very nice design and a cozy resort-style character that feels relaxed rather than overwhelming. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The beach was beautiful, with great access and lovely views. We chose the all-inclusive option and were very happy with it, the food was tasty, varied, and well prepared, and the drinks were also very good. Everything felt well organized and easy. Overall, Hotel NYX was a great choice for our first Cancun trip. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, relaxed resort with good food, drinks, and a nice beach, without the feeling of a massive crowded hotel.

Bedding had black curly hairs on it every single day despite being remade by housekeeping daily, staff was very nice and very accomodating. They don't advertise that you get one night only at Chianti and one night at Umami, otherwise you have to eat at the buffet which was borderline inedible. Breakfast was limited, should have more juice and coffee options maybe even some smoothies and everything under the heat lamps was cold. (also went to breakfast before 8 am every single day) Lastly about food is that the portions were small at the outdoor deck but luckily we could order more than one dish which we did daily. The pool seemed nice we didnt use it but the beach was absolutely stunning. Overall for the price it was totally fine, but construction on either side of the hotel was not only an eye sore but also noisy starting quite early in the morning.

Staff all very attentive, Hotel in great location, really good cocktails. Booked deluxe room - first one we had was 632, tiny but with beautiful sea view. The next day we asked to move to a room with 2 beds (2 friends not wanting to sleep in the same bed) and that was no problem. The room we were moved to - 2202- probably 3-4 times the size of the first, 2 huge beds and still had partial sea view. We went to check with reception that it was still a deluxe room and were told it was. I'm still confused how the rooms could have been so different but classed the same grade.

Das Personal war überall super nett und hilfsbereit! Wir haben sogar netterweise ein upgrade für unser Zimmer bekommen. Das Essen am Strand war mega lecker. Ich empfehle jeden die Avocado mit Thunfisch. Das Hauptrestaurant war leider nicht so gut. Die Auswahl an Gerichten/ Salaten war etwas zu gering. Vor allem wenn man Vegetarier ist, hat man ein Problem 😔 Ansonsten waren wir mit dem Urlaub sehr zufrieden. Der Strand ist ein Traum!

Let me start from the beginning. Right when we pulled up the first impresion was that this place needed and facelift. Checking in was strange.First the man who was checking us in could not speak very good English and when we got to our room it had two queen beds and not one king size bed.Went back down to desk to let them know we upgraded to a jr suite and we were told that was a request not a for sure thing!Our room was bare bones with two beds and one small chair and a small refrigerator.That's it!Very poor lighting in room also.Expedia said this was an all inclusive hotel but it was not at all!No room service and special things on the menu were not included as was some of the drinks.Had to make reservations for the two resturants they had but almost impossible to get in before 9 at night.Way to late to eat.Only two resturants to eat at.One buffet which the food was always warm to cool not hot! The lunch eatry was usually not very hot and with our goup of six we got out meals at different times and they never brought the dessert we ordered!Now on to the pool.Only one not so big pool for everyone.Only 24 chairs around the pool for the whole hotel and they were always covered with towel so very hard to get a chair unless you got up before the sunrise to get one. Also there was water aerobics at 12 and volley ball at 2 which both of them took up most of the pool so no room to swim or relax in the pool at that time which was most of the afternoon.Much more to tell but no more r

The staff was so welcoming and lovely, always serving with a smile and super attentive. Our room was fantastic, with stunning ocean views, spot on clean and modern, with all we needed: safe box, wardrobe, chairs, air con, great shower... This hotel exceeded our expecations. Not being a fan of the Zona Hotelera, this hotel really inmerse you into a Caribbean experience where you feel absolutely spoilt. I can't fault anything. The buffet was pretty decent quality and very varied, with options for everyone. I would highly recommend it.

We did not get the class of room we booked. The noise and view were horrible large industrial fans outside the room were so loud and that was also the view. Unhelpful unfriendly staff and most did not speak English. No entertainment venue just loud music in lobby bar. Couldn’t get drinks in restaurants except beer or wine. Didn’t even have Kahlua anywhere. Only 24 pool chairs for 400+ guests. Buffet food was barely warm. I could go on and on. Would not recommend or ever stay here again.

Had a fantastic stay at NYX Cancun. My sister and I went for a girls trip. It was very clean, the food was good, very close to everything (shopping malls, pharmacy). We did not use any of the spa services. The waiters and waitresses were fantastic. We participated in some of the activities which was a lot of fun as well, those staff are also super kind. A few things that could have been better - there is no dresser to put your clothes, they only have bottled water in the fridge in the rooms (not something you could get at the bars/restaurants), the schedule for which restaurants are open on certain days were not disclosed to us. Thankfully we went to the sushi night the night before as it was not open Mondays. They also didn’t tell us the themed meals for the Buffett ahead of time. Not ideal for those traveling with small children. Overall, the complaints are minimal and we had a great time. I’ve already told others to stay at the resort and I’d absolutely come back!

Overall, NYX Hotel Cancun is a good hotel in an excellent location. The property is clean, well-maintained, and sits on a beautiful stretch of beach. The rooms were clean and well serviced, with housekeeping doing a consistently good job. The beachfront is a major highlight—wide, beautiful sand with plenty of amenities and space to relax. The location is also convenient to nearby shopping and restaurants. The biggest drawback was the food. Most meals were marginal at best, and even the specialty restaurants did not meet expectations. After the first couple of days, we chose to eat off-property for most lunches and dinners, though breakfast was generally acceptable. In summary, if you’re looking for a clean hotel in a great location with a beautiful beach, NYX is a solid option. However, if food quality is a top priority for your all-inclusive stay, you may be disappointed.
