"I had an apartment with a kitchenette for 1 week at the Esplanade. Since I didn't have a car, it was convenient--only about 3 blocks from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of blocks from the central pedestrian zone. The property itself was attractive with a pleasant breakfast area and a nice enclosed central courtyard. The staff was also quite friendly and attentive. The sauna was a very nice, unexpected benefit at the end of tiring days. An excellent option in central Dortmund!"

Outdated, filthy throughout, terrible rooms, and a really really unsafe feeling throughout. I did not stay here, I checked in, and after seeing the state of the place immediately left and found an alternative hotel. Avoid at all costs"
