Beautiful villa with stunning sea view. Got lucky with sunny weather and enjoyed having delicious breakfast sitting on a terrace, taking in the sun and environment. The hostess/owner was very nice and welcoming. The villa is perfect for a relaxing, peaceful stay.

Unique villa, large room with large windows, no TV, designed for guests who wish to have a quiet inspirational time away from the maddening crowd for . very pleasant and helpful owner, stylish with good taste, right next to the Fjord with a wonderful view from the room

予約していたのに、ホテルが営業していない。 このホテルに泊まるためにレンタカーも手配したのに無駄になった。 同等のホテルは一つしかなく、ホテル代も倍以上必要になった。 これに対する対応もエクスペディアからしてもらっていない。本当に最悪の旅になりました。

Please note we do not understand the above language. The guest was rebooked to another hotel in Bergen, as we were closed due to a death and funeral in near relations. The guests had a no show to the hotel we had rebooked them, and told the hotel that the booking was from december 31st 2019. This is not correct message from the guest to the rebooked hotel.. We would appreciate if the guest pay the no show fee to the rebooked hotel. Kindest regards,

This is a Villa in serene nature close to the fjords and the city centre that many visitors loves very much. The qualities of this Villa is much loved.

Had such potential being a wonderful villa, but their lack of hospitality knowledge was disappointing for that price point. If paying top tier should receive top tier service and a manacured facility. The place is beautiful but a bit run down in places and isn’t receiving the touch ups it needs.

Dear guest, Villa Charlotte is in a very good condition. To be able to be spotless in every aspect with the top tier personal service would require a double of the rate you are paying to stay in Villa Charlottel. Unfortunately, we will have to adjust the cost of the operations to the tier we are serving, being a middle tier of the markets as we unfortunately, do not believe there is a market at the very top tier sufficient to bear the costs of this beautiful villa. However, we are grateful and thank you for your visit here at Villa Charlotte.

Beautiful villa. Lovely bed and breakfast. The owner was very welcoming and obliging. Impressive views from the lake-side balcony. Would very much recommend Villa Charlotte. A car would be advisable, particularly if wanting to go on day-trips and our for meals.

こんな生活もあったんだ！
以前はfamilyの家だったとのこと。あいにくの雨でしたが、静かな海に面した夢のような建物でした。 ホテルというよりは、センスの良いゲストハウスと呼ぶべきでしょうか、掃除や洗濯以外は全てオーナーの女性が1人でやっているようでした。朝食は、9時くらいに彼女がキッチンに用意し、二階の部屋から降りてきた人達が、おはようと声をかけ、空いてる席で食べ、食器を自分たちでシンクに下げるような雰囲気です。 テレビはありません。犬と猫がいます。観光地からは離れているので車で移動していて、のんびりしたい人にオススメです。

More like staying at a home
This is really like staying in someone's house and you feel you are a real guest not a customer. Breakfast is a good time to meet and chat and eat some freshly prepared food such as just cooked eggs, hot bacon and those amazing freshly prepared Norwegian waffles.

Beautiful villa
We absolutely loved the villa Charlotte. Torun is a wonderful host. we spent a great day sitting at the pool looking out over the lake.

Norges flotteste bed & breakfast hotell !
Fantastisk flott B&B hotell i særklasse i engelsk herregårdsstil. Nydelig fjordutsikt. Fine rom. Særdeles gode senger (Dux).Svømmebasseng. Herlig frokost av alt hjertet måtte begjære. Flotteste bed & breakfast hotell vi har bodd på. Meget hyggelig vertinne/hotelldirektør. Kan anbefales på det varmeste. Lett atkomst fra Bergen lufthavn Flesland.

Le prix d'un 5 étoiles pour se retrouver dans une chambre d'hôte, où vous n'avez aucun accueil, aucun service, une salle de bain grande comme une armoire dans laquelle il faut rentrer dans la douche pour fermer la porte et ainsi accéder aux toilettes, pas de tv, pas de minibar... la maison n'a que peu de charme et est surtout mal entretenue (poignée de porte cassée, rideaux qui tombent, miroirs fendus, une cuisine qui sert de salle de petit déjeuner qui est sale) il y a deux salons, un qui est le bureau de la propriétaire et un autre où la fille de la propriétaire est vautrée dans le canapé à regarder la seule et unique tv de la maison. le palier des chambres est encombré d'une planche à repasser et d'un tas de linge, aucune insonorisation dans la chambre.. enfin tout ceci est très prétentieux et pourrait être acceptable à condition que cela soit annoncée sur Hotels.com comme une guesthouse et que le prix soit en rapport, pour 70 euros il n'y aurait rien de scandaleux mais à 250 euros la nuit c'est une véritable arnaque!!! je déconseille fortement cet établissement.

Fantastic guest house
The other review says it's not a real hotel, it isn't it's a guest house ran by the owner, there's only 6 rooms but they are large and we'll looked after, the owner is really friendly and always happy to help with your holiday, the view is amazing, also offered is kayaking and great fishing grounds, and the breakfast is really good.

Breath taking views
Villa Charlotte is beautiful, rooms immaculate, spacious with breath taking views. The outdoor pool is great for swimming and we enjoyed a private boat trip out to the sea. Torunn is welcoming, helpful, nothing is too much trouble. She makes a beautiful breakfast. Bergen is a 50 minute bus or bus/tram journey but buses are regular. The botanical gardens and arboretum are walking distance and worth a visit.

Fantastiskt B&B
En helt fantastisk vistelse, fräscht, otroligt vacker omgivning och en fantastisk kvinna som har stället. Ligger en bit utanför Bergen men med fina omgivningar, bla en Botanisk trädgård som inbjöd till härliga morgonpromenader. Vill man ha en stund för sig själva och bo lyxigare så är stället perfekt. Vi kommer återvända!

For et flott sted å komme til. Fredlige omgivelser, som ikke manglet noe. Topp service på alle måter. Eneste minus er at du får litt følelsen av å trå inn i et privat hjem. Det manglet TV på rom bl.a..

Villa with a spectacular view
This villa is gorgeous and the views off the balcony are spectacular. The kingsize bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious with a walk in closet with more space than one could use. The breakfasts were in a light and airy kitchen, again with great views of the water. We felt at home immediately as the owner was warm and friendly. The breakfast was good and we were told to help ourselves. Nearby is a botanical gardens and some lovely walks with water views. We stayed on a second night as we were charmed with the villa and location.
