"What a decadent experience in low-key, authentic Japanese style. Not a detail was spared in the gorgeous historic building and lush forest grounds. The several course meals were outstanding, served in our private dining room and the staff was beyond helpful and gracious. The multiple onsens on property were beautiful and healing, you can even reserve one for an hour of private use. To get there, board a shinkansen and get off at the train station that is about 25 minutes away from the hotel and...

"I had booked this hotel thinking it was standard, but it was Japanese style: tatami floor, floor mattress, and no private bathroom (shower). The room did have a toilet, sink, closets, tv, electrical kettle, etc… yet despite not having my own shower was not a big deal. They offer bathhouse: very clean, spacious, with multiple pools (hot water) cold tub, sauna and even an outdoors onsen! Overlooking the river! Fall asleep sleep to a running river, and waking up to it was so soothing. The staff was...

"The property is a bit dated but still very clean. But we won’t describe our room as spacious as we barely had any room left after laying the bed (even though we booked a triple room). Breakfast was descent."

"Highlight of my Japan trip! The generosity and kindness from the hosts and the luxurious hot spring bath made this a highlight of my trip. I cannot recommend Kokopelli House enough."

"It was an incredible experience. Traditional Japanese room, very clean with a view to the mountains. The staff were extremely kind and polite and the buffet food was great. The hotel is also located very close to the main attractions in Shuzenji so everything is walking distance. Also very close to amazing cafes and restaurants like honohono cafe. You can also take a bus and go to Mihama Beach to see Mt Fuji! Would come here again, 10/10. "

"Tu en room was absolutely stunning with the private hot tub.
Don’t bother eating there though. It s a waste of your money.
The shuttle was very convenient to get to the train station and visit."
"Excellent Glamping Experience with Delicious BBQ!
My wife and I recently stayed at Forest Glamping Kanade no Mori Resorts, and we had a wonderful time. We were a bit concerned about the weather forecast as rain was predicted, but luckily, it cleared up on the day of our stay and we enjoyed perfect conditions.
The highlight of our trip was definitely the BBQ dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful, making for a memorable dining experience under the stars. The glamping tents were also comfortable and well-maintained, providing a great balance of nature and comfort.
We highly recommend Forest Glamping Kanade no Mori Resorts for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable glamping getaway with fantastic food!"
