"Everything about this place was amazing. Probably one of the highlights of our trip. Beautiful onsen, huge house. The kids really wanted a traditional stay. The entire Izu peninsula was a great place to explore and have a couple quieter days between big cities. "

"I had booked this hotel thinking it was standard, but it was Japanese style: tatami floor, floor mattress, and no private bathroom (shower). The room did have a toilet, sink, closets, tv, electrical kettle, etc… yet despite not having my own shower was not a big deal. They offer bathhouse: very clean, spacious, with multiple pools (hot water) cold tub, sauna and even an outdoors onsen! Overlooking the river!
