Three-Star Hotels in Krabi
There are more three-star hotels in Krabi than any other type of accommodation option. You can find close to 150 three-star hotels available. You can also book a hotel right next to Krabi’s very best hotels in Ao Nang, Railay, and Krabi Town to as far away as on Lanta’s west coast, the Phi Phi Islands.
Four and three-star hotels in Krabi are very well priced and much less than in other locations like Singapore. Prices are naturally more expensive during the high season, but are still easily attainable to most visitors. In the shoulder and low seasons, rates are often slashed dramatically.
Three-star hotels in Krabi range from large, well-established brands near the beaches to independent boutique places and family friendly hotels. Ao Nang has the majority of hotels and is the main resort area, but this slice of heaven still remains a nice retreat from Phuket’s brash resorts.
The golden beach spans the frontage of Ao Nang. You can walk everywhere and there are reasonably priced seafood restaurants and shops. While laid-back, you can still find the odd adult bar in Ao Nang, though it is much less apparent than bigger Thai resorts and families can feel comfortable here.
For an even quieter stay, head more towards the northern Nopparat Thara end of Ao Nang where there are newer three-star hotels and fewer bars. Nopparat Thara Beach itself, while not as picturesque or developed as Ao Nang, keeps pedestrians in mind.
Many three-star hotels in Krabi have a swimming pool and are within reach of restaurants or plenty of different street food options. Those farther out of the way often lay on free shuttles to the beach for their guests, while people staying at the beautiful Railay Beach are always within a stone’s throw of the water.
