"Our stay at this place was disappointing. On our first night, we found a cockroach in the bed, which was completely unacceptable. The bedsheets, bath towels weren’t changed daily, and there were mosquitoes everywhere. The property is rundown and is in a local housing area where many places are still closed off, and wild animals like mountain cats can easily wander in. "Pros: The room had great AC (and the main lobby was quite cool at all times). The room with a view of the ocean was beautiful! There were hundreds of places to walk to for food and shopping and only a few minutes walk to the beach! We did not pay for breakfast, so I can't review that. But there were lots of places to sit which was great. Cons: You have to walk 2 floors of steps up to the lobby to get to the elevator. My wife had a sprained knee and walking 2 floors up of stairs to the lobby was very uncomfortable. (And with rolling luggage was difficult)"
