"Had an excellent stay at Hotel Basss. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. It’s in a great location in a beautiful part of Paris near the Moulin Rouge and Sacré-Cœur cathedral. There are 3 metro stations nearby and it is close to Gare du Nord station. The hotel is in a typical Parisian building but modern inside. We had 2 rooms and both were clean with everything we needed. One had a view of the street but wasn’t noisy as the hotel is not on a busy road. This room was the smallest of the two and the bathroom was really small with hardly any space between the toilet and wall, not an issue for us but worth noting. The other room looked out over the courtyard with a much bigger bathroom. There was a kettle in the room which we didn’t use as there complimentary tea, coffee and water in the breakfast area. There are plenty of bakeries, bistros and supermarkets around the hotel too. Loved the hotel and location! "

"Room was clean, and very warm, we did not even need to turn on the heat and that’s saying something for being in the middle of February. Blackout blinds and curtains worked 100%. Cheap and cheerful and worth it for a three day stay. They have an ironing room on the ground floor, a restaurant that serves breakfast, my only recommendation would be maybe a kettle, and some mugs in the room with some biscuits, tea, coffee etc, but France might do things differently from the UK"

"I was really pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Great room overlooking the avenue. Everything was clean and in excellent condition. The staff cleaned daily, which I very much appreciated as it seems rarer and rarer these days in hotels. It’s a great location. I recommend the hotel highly "
