"This is a wonderful location near the national park. If you are wanting to hike the waterfall trail in the national park, it is only about a 5-10 minute drive from this hotel. The hotel is unique in its design and location. It is nestled into the natural surroundings, and the grounds are lovely. "Honestly a great deal for the price. A-frame tents were spacious (enough for us to open up two check in bags and a carry on and still be able to walk around). Our room has a view of the forest with nothing blocking it which was so amazing because we literally woke up to birds sitting in our balcony. "La mansion is in a beautiful location, and has nice views of the lake. The swimming pool and hot tub (more of a warm-tub) were great. I also loved our bright yellow room with crazy tiles thoughout the bathroom. The restaurant was ok. I would recommend eating at one of the local sodas instead. Overall, a great spot if you have a car to explore the area(Including La Fortuna)"
