In addition the location was fantastic. a short 5 minute walk and you are in the center or Catania, with tons of shops and restaurants. this was in the middle of the square. i would rate it higher then a 10 if possible. was a fantastic hotel . "The hotel room is big (except for the shower). We had a kitchen also. The rooftop patio was a beautiful spot to spend the evening. Everything in the hotel was clean. It is super close to the central bus and train station. Easy to get to the beaches by bus and walk to a few restaurants. The market just about a kilometer away was so big and great fun! The only downside is the neighborhood was pretty dirty and very loud at night. We made sure we weren’t out late"

"A hotel with a lot of potential but just failed to deliver on a number of levels: - service was disappointing, on check in advised the restaurant was not avaialble for guests as there was a private party with no apology - areas around the pool had not been cleared of previous guests drinks and snacks Hotel secreted on the edge of a housing estate, with sea view from balcong more like a view of hundreds of roof tops."

"We really enjoyed our stay here - it's a beautiful setting high up in the hills. I would recommend having a car, however, as we had to walk a fair bit to get to any shops or restaurants (besides the lovely pizzeria by the apartments, which wasn't always open). Lovely pool! Spacious apartment, but it wasn't cleaned once during our 5 days there. Kitchenette but limited utensils (e.g. no bowls, no cups). Besides this it was a lovely place which we enjoyed staying in at the start of our holiday"
