"The hotel is a lovely old converted winery and is situated in a very large Orange/Lemon orchard in the middle of the countryside. The hotel rooms and grounds are stunning, with nice views of the Volcano/Sea and the bar/restaurant are both excellent. "Beautifully located, spectacular scenery amongst the slopes of Etna and the vineyards. Property is well hidden, you wouldn't know it is there unless you are specifically looking for it. Property is well maintained and their respect for the environment and minimal impact is evident. The staff were wonderful with our check in, escorting us to our room. "Very welcoming and changed our room easily to ground floor to accommodate us. So glad there was a bar and restaurant on site and the food and service was lovely. So nice to eat outside on the terrace. Didn’t have time to use the pool, it it looked lovely although up quite a climb to the top garden. Breakfast was delicious, served to our order. Thank you. "The room was large, decor was interesting and overlooking the garden/pool area (although you cannot see the pool from the room). Dinner was great at €30 per person. The property is very pretty in a quiet area although quite close to the main road so you can still hear the cars. We were given towels for the pool. And the pool is very nice, and gorgeous at sunset. There was a bad smell coming from the ensuite. The AC was very noisy (crackling and popping sounds all through the night) that woke us...

"About 40 rooms surrounded by an orange and lemon orchard. Our room was clean and comfortable and opened onto the orchard and back of the lobby building. We took day trips to Mount Etna, Taormina, and Syracuse, and are very happy with the location and the hotel. The kids enjoyed running around the orchard and the playground, but the pools were not open yet for the summer. If we return, we would either want to stay here or closer to Taormina. The breakfast was very heavy on cookies and bread, but...

"We enjoyed very much the Sicilian food at breakfast and the wonderful evening meals. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the company at meals was splendid. The room could have been more comfortable but it was early in the year. Had we come later we would have been able to sit outside and enjoy the pretty courtyard. We had a memorable stay and a real taste of Sicilian cuisine and lifestyle."

No bar - we stayed here for shelter during typhoon and would have been nice for casual area for wine and antipasto to escape from our room during storm but we understand it is what it is.
